In India, Dowry System is very much common and for some people is the only thing in Marriage. When we say marriage, for some dowry is the gifts from the parent for the betterment of her girl, in future. The articles may include Furniture, Vehicle, Utensils, Ornaments etc.
But, some take it seriously. They dreamed of the Gold, Diamond, Silver for their marriage with a Rich girl, throughout their life and when the dreams do not fulfill, people get furious.
This is want happened to the complainant within hours of her marriage.
If we say that she was married yesterday, today she was with her parents filing complaint against her husband. This is the situation of A Punjabi girl, for not giving dowry, as per the demands of the her husband.
what happened is, the girl was married with every possible arrangement parents of girl can do, to marry her daughter with lights and sound. The husband, after the marriage function, took the girl with him. At night, the husband called the parents of the girl, while she was crying behind him, that "What you have teach her? Is she dumb and deaf?"
If any other man on Earth hear these slang, everyone will thought that he is talking about the Honeymoon Night between Husband & Wife.
A mother if hear these words, what she can say?
Her mother told that "Son, she is very childish in nature. She does not know anything about it." these words, a mother's words to her son-in-law regarding her daughter that she does not know any thing about honeymoon. Brevity and Presence of Mind.
But the story was different. What the husband wants to say that his wife do not know how to talk and obey her husband's every say, even that is illegal, impossible or full of greed. He wanted her wife to talk to her parents and ask them to give a CAR to the husband.
This is the real picture. The greediness of the husband for a metal-made car, which become superior than a lovely and beautiful wife. As the girl refused to say that to her parents, he gave merciless beating to her newly wedded wife, just after few hours from his marriage.
After which he left his wife with her parents and proclaimed that he did not want to marry her, and now that she is not allowed to come to my home.
Even After several requests at the same day, and after several Panchayats, he have not taken her to her matrimonial home, to live like a wedded wife.
After which, she has filed a complaint against him for expenses and Divorce.
So what I Want to say is, our society is nothing but a greed covered with a smiley face. Hell with this type of Society.
